Club Night and Thursday Walk
Club Night Once a week on a wednesday evening IVC members enjoy meeting up for an evening out over a meal. We have some regular venues that our members favour but always have a couple of Wednesdays at a venue of a host's choice. This then gives us a wider variety to choose from. Many venues require tables to be booked in advance so members wishing to eat notify the host in advance and the host books the venue for that evening. Members who are booked for a meal meet at 6:30pm. Members who just want to pop in for a chat and a drink join us later from 7:30pm.
Prospective members are welcome to join us from 7:30pm. So why not pop along and find out about us.
Thursday Walk Walk Another regular event on our programme is a gentle stroll round the Exeter Quay followed by a coffee stop at our favourite Quayside Café. For new and prospective members this is an ideal opportunity to come and meet members of the club. It’s very informal and a friendly way to meet new friends. The walk starts at 10:30am from the top of the canal basin and lasts about 45/55 minutes. We get to the coffee shop around 11:15am then coffee and chat until around midday. Current, New and Prospective members are always welcome to Join us to walk or just for coffee if you prefer. Please contact the walk co-ordinator for full details.
